The complaint stated that Plaintiff is an African American who worked as a third-grade boys teacher at Norfolk Academy from 1997 to 2019., Plaintiff alleged that from at least as early as 2013 and until the end of Allisons employment with Norfolk Academy, the school either engaged in, tolerated or failed to take effective remedial action regarding numerous racially-biased or racially insensitive policies or incidents that occurred at or was committed by Norfolk Academy staff or students., Plaintiff further alleged that these racial Incidents had a negative impact on Ms. Allison and created an unwelcomed and negative environment for Norfolk Academys African American students, and staff, including Ms. Allison.
